CORTIZO's 4600 Lift & Slide HI system is an ideal system for closing large spans, offering excellent thermal and acoustic performance without relinquishing its avant-garde design. CORTIZO's R&D department has worked on new aesthetic possibilities for this series, recently incorporating the minimalist option with an interlocking profile with 50 mm of sight line.
This system has straight aesthetics in its sashes and beads, offering the best thermal insulation in all the sliding range, with transmittance values (UW) from 0.9 (W/m²K). This maximum energy efficiency is possible thanks to the combination of a thermal break zone with 35 and 24 mm polyamide strips and cross-linked polyethylene foams as well as its high glazing capacity. These series allows the installation of glass of up to 55 mm thick which allows for the option to install compositions of double and triple glass with a double cavity, thus providing a maximum acoustic insulation of RW 43 dB.
Each sash admits maximum dimensions of 3,350 mm wide and 3,200 mm high that guarantee great internal luminosity. This sliding door is ideal for closing large spaces, being able to cover spans of more than 20 meters with the 6-sashes 3-rails option. Another novelty introduced in this system is the possibility of making compositions combining sash and fixed light. Also noteworthy is its very smooth opening action and perfect sash sliding over a stainless steel rail. This slider bases its workings on a system where the sashes are mounted on a mechanism that allows for it to be elevated when opened and drop down when closed in such a way that the closed door rests over lower and lateral longitudinal weather gaskets and can be fixed in whatever position thus improving its weather tightness and acoustic insulation.
