
CORTIZO PVC expands its catalog of windows for buildings with reduced energy consumption with a new version of the A 84 PASSIVHAUS 1.0 series. It is a hinged system with 84 mm of frame depth and 6 interior chambers with a narrower standard steel reinforcement, which is presented as an alternative to the thermally broken reinforcement version launched two years ago. Both versions allow a maximum glazing capacity of 54 mm and acoustic insulation of up to 46 dB, contributing to the reduction of heating and air conditioning consumption, and offering exceptional comfort in the home. The new variant of the A 84 Passivhaus 1.0 has also been certified for the warm-temperate category and can achieve a Uw transmittance value of only 0.74 W/m²K.
All these benefits are reinforced by the great results achieved in the AEV test benches: Class 4 in air permeability, Class E1500 in watertightness and Class C5 in wind resistance. As well as the entire CORTIZO PVC range, the new A 84 PASSIVHAUS 1.0 also stands out for the quality of its profiles: CLASS A (main wall thickness of 3 mm), CLASS S (suitable for severe climates; optimal solar behaviour) and CLASS II (maximum impact resistance).
This new series enhances the range of passivhaus solutions of the Galician multinational that already had the A84 Passivhaus HI systems (Uw from only 0.66 W/m²), A 84 Passivhaus 1.0 and COR 80 Industrial Passivhaus, the latter made of aluminum.
